Things don’t exist just because we observe them. How we interpret them is the real question. We all see a wavelength and call it blue but my blue can look red to you but you would never know because you can’t see through my eyes to interpret it. The physical properties will always be there. The interpretation is what differs.

The tree fell independently of any observer, so it should still produce sound; the lack of sense lies in assuming otherwise. Sugar tastes sweet because its chemical structure produces that quality. Events do not occur merely because someone witnesses them.

sound is the vibration of particles, the very act of falling is moving, therefore the particles move, vibrate, so yes, soun will be made. overall, the non perception of things doesn't dictate it doesn't exist or didn't happen, in other words, reality occurs regardless of our existence

All of these questions (similarly with thesius ship) rely on everyday conflation of terms. The tree makes a sound wave scientifically (in the scientific definition of sound). The tree does not make a sound in the sensual definition as there is no agent to sense it. The tree both does and does not make a sound depending on the definition of sound. When people ‘disagree’ over the answer they don’t actually disagree, they are just talking past each other by using different definitions of the word ‘sound’
