@merlinidc: #fyp #onepiece #onepiecetheory #mysteriouscitiesofgold #mu Oda is not copying these shows, he’s taking pieces of inspiration and forging them into something entirely new. He’s paying homage to the things that inspired him as he grew up, and these hidden references show just how much he truly appreciated them!

AnimangaKing7 :

I have been saying this for so long and people (One Piece fans) always get so mad. Like even Laputa Castle in the Sky you could have used in this video.

LowKi :

One of the attacks from a warship in Nadia, peep how it looks like ponaglyph writing 👀👀

Travis🦍 🇬🇭 :

When it comes to op it’s inspiration 🤣

msz99📟 :

100%. Oda consumed media that was around at that time. I would focus especially on their endings of these shows. The endings of these show are very particular and i wouldnt be surprised if Oda decided to make a similar one. I would add to the list also Link’s Awakening’s story. While they are a bit different in the story, they share a lot of parallelism and i think the ending is exceptional

come_tf_on_now :

you should check out the blue bird of joy, its sequel, and the anime about the play

Joe__974 :

Oda might’ve been inspired by those shows. Most of those things existed in history and mythology books way before any show.
