honestly this reminds me a lot about me and my boyfriend. He's a people pleaser and very passive and I have bpd for context, his best friend encouraged him to leave me in the past which he did, and when my boyfriend came back to me his best friend was really angry about it and Started causing stress for us both and tried to force my boyfriend to pick between us. my boyfriend is too passive and decided to, instead of cutting someone off who literally hates me, Hide the fact he even talks to me. it really hurt But I accepted it because I'm too attached to my boyfriend, but things got worse and That friend started doing things like saying sexual things to him, flirting, etc and my boyfriend won't stand up for himself and tell him to stop and it makes me so uncomfortable. And ny boyfriend says "it's because I want people to like me" but what about me? what about how I feel? He ignores me because other people won't talk to him and I just dont know anymore how to feel. Yesterday I found out his best friend has a crush on him and it upset me so much I vomitted and I asked him "please just tell your best friend you don't want him to keep feeling that way and tell him to at least stop being open about it" and he fucking won't, it infuriates me. he says "it's to keep peace" but what about my peace? I have nowhere to talk about this so thats why I wrote this here.
