I did this once and they said “I would ask for a raise”. And I replied with “that’s what I’m doing and you’re denying me”. Turns out it was because I was a woman and he was a man - hence why I wasn’t getting a raise

I can't ask my director how she got to her position? Her father cheated the small shareholders and pushed everyone out of the company, and that's how she became the director. She certainly didn't get to that position through hard work and dedication.
