You don’t pay for products, you get paid hourly (at least at the locations near me when I looked at their open positions) you get tips and a retirement option. Ulta is GREAT for beginner stylists

I’m so glad Ulta is making a comeback and women are choosing less expensive salons. Not everyone should run their own business! I occasionally go to a “trendy” salon that’s all over TikTok and the owner and her girls are always STRESSED, talking really loud, shouting, hustling, in survival mode constantly! I can’t stand it! I now go to a slightly cheaper place where the stylists are calm and quiet, it’s a nice little atmosphere with plenty of peace and kindness!

As someone who runs her own beauty business - I’m so jealous. I’m too deep in now to let it go, but commission and working under someone was some of the most stress free days I’ve ever had. Love this for you.
