My mentality forever. Always considering if it’s cheaper but the extra hours of anxiety will end up costing me the same. I literally have a number based on my salary and when I am calculating something, I compare the cost woth how many hours will I suffer if I get the cheaper version. It has never failed me.

I 100% agree. We spend our whole lives romanticizing and accepting unnecessary inconveniences because apparently they’re supposed to “shape you” when honestly, I think realizing that I DON’T have to make my life harder is what shaped me more. I don’t have to stand in the rain waiting for a bus, wake up an hour earlier just to make several connections, or force myself to choose the cheapest option every single time. Sometimes I can spend a little more than I probably should on something that makes my life faster, easier and simply more comfortable and that’s okay
