@fragrances: I interviewed the owner of Sospiro and legendary perfumer Christian Provenzano and asked fragrance related questions… #fragrance #cologne #fragtok #sospiro #christianprovenzano
So, are they saying Hawas, Lattafa etc are bad guys and are using cheap materials?

obviously they will hate it when it recreates their fragrance 95 percent accurate with better projection and longer lasting and 10 times less the price

Their reasoning behind dupes and their brand is the reason why I choose dupe. Affordability is the key. If my fragrance smells great on me at the price I paid for it be it $40/60/80, why buy the same thing that last half of the time for hundreds more?

Sospiro makes dupes too, why not ask them about their dupes.

Raw material cost is a lie. There are very few expensive ingredients, and oil is the same.

I have a question for him. why do you guys put the fragrances up for over 100 bucks when the actual liquid is like 4 to 20 bucks?

No, it's not always the case that the luxury brand is using quality materials. You can never surely know with perfume.

Sorry, but their takes on dupes are antiquated. Regardless of the quality of sourced materials and their cost, dupes are on par with and sometimes BETTER than even niche fragrances at a fraction of the cost! How do you reconcile the price of niche with the price of dupes when they are on par with eachother now??? Maybe 10 years ago you could use this “dupes are low quality” talking points to justify outrageous niche and designers prices but no longer! Sorry, fellas but dupes are here to stay and hate it or love it, i think it is a good thing for competitiveness in the industry.

People who say dupes are one to one with real perfumes don’t know what they’re talking about, I got some good dupes but they’re not as good as the original

But CP, literally rinses and repeats his fragrances. Too many of his stuff smells like what he’d done for another brand. So does that make it a high quality dupe
