I live here and I also know they’re not scammers lmaooo. They do get sad when they don’t get tips but they still continue their show! And definitely don’t force the people they pick to pay smh.

True story. Was there last week and these guys did the EXACT same act as guys in Hawaii did. My husband was apart of that show as a "volunteer". Then they ask you for money even though your family already donated. So distasteful! Same act, different state across the county. Crazy! Don't fall for it!

what type of scamming ? I don't think they ever scam people. NYC street performer never really scamming people, they dont even force you to tip them, unless crazy people. but one thing for sure, as someone lives in this city for almost 10 years, yea their performances are boring, but then again, they mainly trying to attract tourists, so i guess they are good.
