That’s not what we wanted what we wanted is for men to recognize that what we do at home is the same as what they do at work that’s what we wanted. A lot of us. Women did not want equality. A lot of us women want to be stay at home moms wants to be home, taking care of the kids, but however, we want what we do at home with the kids to be recognized as a day-to-day situation just because we don’t clock in and clock out every day does not mean that what we do at home is not enough. This is the reason why women want things to change so y’all can see what we go through on a daily basis at home when y’all do this to us see you’re trying to make it seem like all women want this no all women won’t understanding that does this that stay at home cook clean take the kids to recitals take the kids here. Take the kids there. Do this. Do that and y’all men come home and be like oh that you don’t make no money. That’s not enough you’re not worth anything because you sit at home all day we don’t want to be men in a relationship. We want men to understand what we contribute to the relationship the same way they provide money is the same way we provide stability and nurture and everything else so no that’s not a joke even if it was meant to be funny it’s not a joke so don’t try to sit here and say that this is what we wanted cause this is Don’t sit here and try to say that this is what we want because this is not what we want we want understanding we wanted to y’all to realize that what we do at home is just as good as y’all clocking in and out every day and feel appreciated for what we do at home for the kids that we created together
