so strange how you call it a coffee cake without coffee in it. here, a coffee cake actually has coffee in it because all flavours of cake are served with coffee. so if someone ordered coffee cake they'd expect it to actually have coffee in it. they'd bring it back if it was just a plain old vanilla cake. here, that cake you made is called what it is. a vanilla and cherry cake.
