A lot of people in the comments speaking like they know ball. First if you don’t have a child with special needs don’t speak on Jr. situation. Now here’s just my experience (only speaking from my experience) my son diagnosis took 3yrs to be completed. Yes, you get a diagnosis but there are serval step after that it starts with his primary and she will put in referrals for specialist or scans etc. a lot of these specialists have waiting list. My son was on the waiting list 3yrs to finally have a full yes this is his diagnosis and they give you documentation stating his diagnosis. After that he was on the waiting for occupational therapy, ABA, and speech for 2 1/2 after his diagnosis. As his mom I order everything I thought could or would help him til I was able to get proper equipment from these places. You can’t just go ordering medical equipment some things you have to have referrals or have fittings etc. it’s not an overnight thing. Let’s stop talking shit and encourage them to continue trying every and anything they think might help him cause they could just leave him in the stroller again.
