@johnmotivation002: Overcommitting is a common struggle for ADHD brains. You say yes because it feels exciting or you want to help, and before you know it, your day is a blur of missed commitments and guilt. The key is starting with ''no''. By pausing, reflecting, and then deciding if you truly have time, you regain control. This video shows why saying no isn’t a rejection of others, it’s a tool for protecting yourself, respecting your limits, and finally breaking the shame cycle that often follows ADHD overwhelm. Huh? am I the only ADHDer with P.D.A.? I had to tech myself not to immediately say no. I have to consciously stop and process the request in order to give a real response.
