Tea Tree oil is toxic to dogs. Lillies will kill your cat. If you get flowers, and arrangement has lillies, don’t let your cats near it. The powdery orange stuff inside the lillies will kill them-organ failure. I put the flowers in the garage and then take them to work.

I am a barber and any time someone brings up minoxodil in my chair ask if they have cats and mention it is toxic. I have cats myself and have avoided minoxodil for this exact reason

I stopped using topical minoxidil specifically for this reason. I learned about it and tossed everything I had because I was so terrified I would poison my pets. I now tape oral minoxidil and just be sure to be extremely careful with the tablets and wash my hands after taking it

Been saying this for years. If you need minoxidil and you have pets - for gods sake take the tablets, and keep those tablets locked away where little paws and fangs can’t get to the packs.

I am currently experiencing extreme hair loss, my doctor said minoxidil is the only thing that will help, and he is right. But I have a cat and even if he said this will not be an issue, I did not start and am using different methods even if I know this will never be as effective. My cat is my baby
