@the__quiet__reset_: I’m learning that rising isn’t just about getting myself back on my feet. It’s about remembering who was there when I was struggling to stand. As I rise, I will take the people who genuinely supported me with me. The ones who stood beside me when things were difficult. The ones who believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself. The ones who fought alongside me, encouraged me, listened, showed up and genuinely wanted to see me succeed. Those people will rise beside me. 🤍 Because I don't forget loyalty. I don't forget respect. I don't forget love. I don't forget empathy. I don't forget compassion. And I certainly don't forget the people who showed up when they didn't have to. But I also remember the other side. I remember those who constantly pulled me down. Those who dismissed my efforts. Those who made me question my worth. Those who watched me struggle and chose not to care. Those who only appeared when it benefited them. I don't need revenge. I don't need to drag anyone down. Some people simply become a distant memory when you finally understand that your future cannot be built around the people who kept trying to hold you back. So as I rise, I’m taking my lessons with me. I'm taking my strength. My boundaries. My self-respect. My heart. My wisdom. And most importantly… I'm taking the people who loved me through the hard chapters into the beautiful ones. Because when you've fought hard to rebuild yourself, you learn something very important: Not everyone deserves a place at the table you fought so hard to reach.
