It's not just Snyder fans after episode 8. This ain't hittin right with comic fans. Imo its gonna age badly once everyone settles down from the wave everybody's been ridin. Aaron and Kyle were great; but the story was just some gaslighting ass shit

The difference is the context. Lanterns presents a Hal Jordan that is dark and gritty, and flawed morally, but the show heavily insists that he is very much out of his prime, and that this is not what a green lantern should be, where snyderverse shows you a gritty Superman and Batman and insists that this is what they should be when lanterns does the opposite.

Genuinely what does this have to do with the lantern show? Second off there’s no way we’re saying the Snyder verse is better in anyway the only good thing to come out of the Snyder verse and my opinion is Batman. Zack Snyder was literally gonna make everything connected to the kryptonian’s. I’m pretty sure that I heard something about him making the Greek gods kryptonian that move to earth so that would mean wonder woman would be part Amazonian part kryptonian like what are we talking about?

Just got done watching ep 8 and show is mid. it really feels like the writers had a story in the back pocket that never got green lit got hired for lanterns and just used said story. because why is the most important construct the drill. feels like you can completely remove the green lantern aspect and the show would play out the same they killed hal Jordan died to a fucking cop like come on
