@bransonareabreakingnews: A remarkable discovery deep in the Ozarks has raised questions about whether one of the oldest people ever documented has been living quietly in the mountains for decades. A woman who claims to be 128 years old was reportedly found living alone in a remote cabin miles from the nearest road. She says she was born in 1898 and has lived in the same area since childhood. The cabin has no electricity or running water. Inside, investigators found old photographs, letters and documents—some appearing to date back more than a century. The woman says she has survived by growing and preserving food, collecting water by hand and heating her cabin with wood. Researchers are now examining the records and attempting to trace her family history. If the documents can verify her age, the isolated Ozarks resident could prove to be one of the oldest people ever documented.
