PRO TIP: if you equipped a Zorua as your buddy, all the zoras that appear will automatically show if they are shiny or not when you click into them.

in regard to having it as your buddy to supposedly skip oh animation, how exactly does that work if the zorua you’re trying to catch is shiny, does it still do the oh animation if it’s shiny? like how exactly does that work

So the adventure catcher item catches Pokémon you already have - including shiny. But with zorua you don’t know if it’s shiny until you catch it, so would the auto catcher recognize that it’s going to be shiny and not catch it? Or would you be able to catch it with the auto catcher without already having the shiny
