@holychucklespodcast: “By now” has carried a lot of weight in my life. I should have figured this out by now. I should be further along by now. I should have accomplished more by now. I should be more healed by now. I should know where I'm going by now. But who decided where “by now” was supposed to be? Apparently, me. 😂 I had created destinations in my mind and then judged myself for not arriving at places that didn't actually exist. That's what I'm learning to release. There isn't some invisible schedule hanging over my life measuring whether I'm early, late, or right on time. I'm living. I'm learning. I'm healing. I'm growing. And none of those things need to happen according to a timeline I created when I didn't even know the person I would become. Maybe I was never behind. Maybe the only thing making me feel behind was the belief that I was supposed to be somewhere other than exactly where I was.
