@browneyedgurl801: 🚩 POLICE GOT A TIP THAT A COLORADO WOMAN HAD BEEN SH** INSIDE A CAR—AND BURIED SOMEWHERE IN TEXAS. HOURS LATER, THEY FOUND A SUSPECT DRIVING THE VERY VEHICLE THEY WERE LOOKING FOR🚩 As of October 4, 2026, Amarillo Police are investigating the d*ath of Faith Smith, 31, of Colorado, as a h**icide after her body was found buried behind a garage in Texas. The investigation began on October 1, when Amarillo Police h**icide detectives received information that a woman from Colorado had allegedly been sh** inside a vehicle somewhere in Amarillo and then buried in the city. Detectives began interviewing possible witnesses and said they were able to corroborate information they had received. Their investigation led them to Leonard Torres, 48. Police located Torres driving the vehicle investigators believed was connected to the sh**ting. When officers attempted to take him into custody, police say a short pursuit followed before Torres was apprehended. Then investigators got another lead. It took them to the 3100 block of Orange Street in Amarillo. Behind a detached garage that was still under construction, detectives and crime-scene investigators located what police described as a burial site. They began digging. Inside, they found a woman’s body. On October 2, Amarillo Police publicly identified her as Faith Smith. Torres was booked into the Potter County Detention Center on a charge of aggravated as**ult with a d**dly weapon. Despite being publicly identified as a suspect in the h**icide investigation, he has not been publicly charged with m**der as of the latest update. Police have also not publicly explained Faith’s relationship to Torres, why she was in Amarillo, who owns or used the property where she was found, or whether anyone else may have been involved. #truecrime #crimenews #truecrimenews #truecrimecommunity
