If you deep it Allah’s free willed creation was created to sin and be sinful and not be perfect. But the wisdoms behind it is to show all creation what his mercy acc is, if we never sinned how would Allah show his mercy to his creation. And somewhere i think to myself that Allah wanted shaytan to seek forgiveness and the arrogance of not doing it angered Allah the most.

Does anyone know what happens if someone repents of a major sin, hasn't repeated it for years, and then repeats it at some point? This implies that the repentance wasn't sincere. Does this exclude us from Allah's mercy forever? Because my understanding is that Allah accepts repentance, no matter how much one has sinned, but once one has repented, he / she has to absolutely not repeat it. Is there any way back from that to him?
