The fact that she left her will to Aaron literally broke me. I felt sooo bad for Cal. It’s almost like no one wanted him

I have a theory that the twins are from the two brothers, Aron belongs to Adam while cal belongs to Charles

I think out of all the characters, Cal was the most complex. I remember I loved him from the beginning, even when he made wrong choices I knew he wasn't all bad in his heart. I love him

Did anyone else also get disappointed when she left her will to Aaron I was like Cal deserved that more given that he has never experienced love from his father or anyone else except from Lee and Aaron was just so undeserving. It really broke me.

Scar (Taylor's version)🇵🇸 :
remember when Adam's father made him go to army instead of Charles, he told him because he loved him more, but he was actually punishing him. I feel like this is the same as Kate leaving the money to Aaron, she didn't want Cal to inherit "filthy" money, because he was a lot like her in a way, she saw Adam in Aaron. that was her final act of resentment against Adam.

She wrote her will to Aron because the only time she met him she saw a child in pain, just like she was as a child. She may have been a form of a sociopath and at the end schizophrenic but she still had a soul. The interactions she had with Cal she saw the version of herself that she hates in him but she also saw the self righteousness she resented in Adam. Cathy was such a complex character that honestly could have had so many more episodes and we still wouldn’t have scratched the surface. There are so many parallels and so much symbolism. Cal was the embodiment of both dark and light. Lee saw it and I think Lee saw Cathy trying to pull herself out of darkness but she just couldn’t. Ironically Abra is also a good embodiment of balance and I think there are a lot of subtle parallels between Abra and Cathy. There’s just so many layers and soooo much nuance. 10/10. Best show I’ve seen in a long time.
