Use a hair oil before, use a brush that holds a lot of tension in your hair when doing the chaser method,do multiple passes at the roots to lay the hair flat,do smaller sections and when passing the straightener when you glide it down close it tight (not enough yo hurt or get stuck, just enough to feel the slightest gentle tug).hope i helped [happy]

I have the same problem what helps best if when u straighten ur hair always section it and straighten not to big pieces at a time while having a hair brush hold the piece ur straightening at the same time! Does this make sense??

I usually do smaller sections at a time and take my time going down each strand with the straightener. Using a good heat protector also helps along with a good oil once you finished straightening it. Hope that helps a bit!
