The most absurd thing is that he had two excellent free-kick takers in Pjanic and Dybala, one right-footed and one left-footed, who were perfect for virtually every position. He completely wasted those opportunities because he wanted to boost his own stats. Before he arrived, Juve were consistently scoring four or five free-kicks a season. It’s crazy that, because of his obsession with being the main character, he effectively took away guaranteed goals from Juve through Dybala and Pjanic. On top of that, he was even voted the second-worst free-kick taker in Serie A history.
