OK GUYS UPDATE!! I waited a week to talk to her (she wasnt at school) and when she came back she started talking bad behind my back. I confronted her and all she said was “oh sorry” and “i didnt even mean it like that tho” i couldve said a lot more but i decided to leave it. I’m just really done with that group i dropped them all. After i left, she started talking bad again but tbh i don’t care anymore they don’t fw me i don’t fw them.

hey girl, I deal with this exact situation every year with my birthday. I put so much time into cleaning my place and making sure everything is nice. Only for my “friends” to cancel on me the days leading up and the day of. These people are not your friends even if you’ve known them for a long time. I know it’s a sucky situation and I know that feeling of disappointment because you’re so excited. Find some new friends, I know it’s easier said than done!

this is a cannon event girl do NOT let them back into your life! even in my case they were my only friends but trust me i was so much happier in the awkward between friends phase than having to force myself to be around that group!

Girl my heart hurts for you. I've been trying to hang out with my friends for a long time and I get that everyone's schedules don't really line up.. So I planned a little party/hangout with my 3 closest friends a month in advanced. I worked with all of them to find a date and time that worked with everyone. I checked in every week to make sure everyone was still down. I planned the food, made decorations, bought stuff for activities, and was SO excited. Then the night before, ALL of them canceled on me. I'm so fucking tired, man... 😓
