As someone who sits just below that threshold and would benefit from these supposed tax breaks, I am so tired of people's answer to economic relief is "just tax the wealthy". We live under the best possible economic system - capitalism. However they earned their money, THEY earned their money. Not me, not us. Could I benefit from a tax break? Sure. Would I like to see more of my paycheck go into my account? Absolutely. But the government doesn't need to rob Peter to pay Paul. They need to fix the massive spending and stupid programs that end up going nowhere. We have a spending problem, not a lack of "money to go around" problem. Taxing the wealthy is just a shitty band-aid and kicks the can down the road.

Let’s not play word games here , republican states may be lower cost , but are still way to expensive. This is a problem no matter left or right . This definitely can be fixed but the elites will never change unless us regular folks boycott and ban together.

if we lower the taxes for the rich or the ones running the businesses they can lower their prices without sacrificing their profit. whatever we can do is lower taxes for businesses and that would help to lower the prices. raising taxes doesn't help. prices go up when taxes go up. remember that
