Goddamn, what a way to bastardize the Green Lantern Corps and ignore the lore giving John his own oath, then writing Hal out by just killing him off because they didn’t want Hal Jordan and John Stewart both being Green Lanterns the whole time. Instead they only want one of them, yet keep Guy Gardner, and then villainize the rest of the Green Lanterns Corps. You know you could’ve just made Hal stay more in space and have Jon Stewart on earth with Guy and not write down Hal Jordan’s character to lift up Jon, if you have to do that your either lazy or don’t actually care or have confidence that Jon Stewart can be as cool as Hal or special.
