16 in high school now 21 in grad school visiting on weekends. Time flies!! You feel so old compared to high school yet long for when you can start a life together by yourselves. Recently had a conversation about how eager we are to live more independently right after school but also recognize how someday we will look back our life now and miss how simple things are - visiting, every moment is precious, no bills or taking care of a house. It’s so easy to let both nostalgia and future aspirations cheat you out of living in the present! We are so lucky to literally grow up with our significant others :)

I miss being 17/18 getting done with school(high school) and going to his house after school. He was a grade higher than me. Or walking in my old high school hallways where me and him used to walk in:)….
