The problem is, thrift stores are so competitive with retail stores now. Once upon a time, you went to a thrift store to spend $8 on the pair. Jeans like at the L train thrift store. If I have to spend $250 on a shirt, I might as well go into a retail store. It's ridiculous, and we shouldn't normalize it. It's not okay. The whole point of going to the thrift store is to save money and get good quality.

Rugged Road isn’t a thrift shop, so anyone talking down on the price jsut doesn’t know game. It’s a curated vintage store. The pieces are rarer, older and harder to come by.

Vintage ralph for $55 is thrifting fasho. Ive seen Loro piana for $20. Thats thrifting. I got chrome for basically free, THATS thrifting. Anything above that is crazy.
