This. I hate when people try to convince me that its ridiculous to seek out an ideal partner. If i have to wait 20 years for a lasting and genuine relationship to settle with, I will do so. I will never settle for someone who has major negatives about them. Of course, u cant avoid small disagreements and differences, its natural and ensures ur both still your own person. However, if you have something as big as a boundary and moral gap, it is NOT wrong to end that relationship. Your peace isn't worth risking just to avoid being single. You'll find your person eventually. (And this isn't excluding trial and error with dating, thats also completely normal, and we learn from mistakes).
