right but in real life we read and open things like that to debunk them and break the myths that captures the minds of religious ppl and shit. yeah I'd read the book too I'm not in a movie but if reading a scary book turned my life into a movie suddenly so be it but that will never happen. you are trying to frame curiosity as toxic and something only white men do. that's stupid as hell. you should watch some thai horror movies or pick a region. they make great stuff and have men and women of their own regions ethnicities breaking the taboos and unleashing the ancient evil and shit just like in our movies. you lost the plot on this one.
