I'm not saying every single person in your life needs to be a Christian, but you have to pay attention to who is actually influencing you. You don't even notice it happening at first, you just slowly start thinking differently, excusing behaviors you used to have a problem with, and drifting. Often, the influence isn't some obvious "bad person", it's a close friend or someone you genuinely love. But if being around them consistently pulls you away from God, wisdom, and the person you're trying to become, you have to wake up. Loving people doesn't mean giving everyone unlimited access to your inner life. Look at your circle.
