my bio dad wasn’t a part of anything, the shower, the doctor appointments, just showed up the day of my birth, don’t let him on the BC from someone who wishes her mom never let her dad in the room.

please don’t allow him to be on the BC! My mom allowed my dad and for what? He never even came to be w her during her birth js signed it bc it was his “ right” trust me as someone who wishes their mother never should’ve allowed it, js let her be completely YOURS bc she is and he made sure of that. don’t listen to anyone telling u different and don’t let your emotions cloud your judgement bc of something that COULD happen, have an amazing pregnancy & wishing you calm and fast delivery mama 🥰

23 year old here ! My mom didn’t put my dad on my birth certificate due to his alcohol problems etc. 23 years later he is completely sober and a changed man BUT I am always to grateful to have my moms lady name , it shows me her strength and resilience and always reminds me of how strong I am. Do not give your baby that man’s name .

As the child, my mom allowed my dad to come and sign the birth certificate. Although, he had the opportunity he didn’t care. My mom being kind she decided to leave his last name on my birth certificate. Let me say, I questioned and argue on the why. Eventually children will grow up and realize, and as that child I would suggest not doing that neither. If he didn’t want nothing with us, why would you even give him the decency of that ? But wtv you decide on, I hope you and your babygirl are happy and safe :)!!
