Great series, boring and trash finale. Hal’s death has no consequences or accountability. Context of his death is stupid even more so when the entire season was building to it. John’s first flight is not in costume but casual wear, Sinestro was underwhelming. Rather being an episode of conclusion it’s 40 minutes of set up even tho this a finale not a pilot episode lmao heavily disappointed. “I love you” scene was great, car scene had its moments but overall bad episode. Finale of the series and I’m watching a football game and Kerri enjoy something she shouldn’t be, expecting me to sympathize or feel anything for her when I couldn’t care less for her; there’s nothing likable about her character lol. Hal died for nothing, all this talk of Noah plotting something for there to be no plot at all, just Noah having thoughts, so Hal died over a conversation of hypotheticals cause Noah doesn’t even come close to actually acting on it for it to hold any weight at all or for me to take the stakes serious at all. Noah gets the ring in the most underwhelming way possible, no drama or stakes felt when he takes it, all for a car ride and the conversation. Don’t we love not dramatizing themes & answers to said themes for the big landing lol. LShow don’t tell” they say and then it’s just an episode of dialogue. Passive choices, no real action.
