@channelnewsasia: The US has withdrawn all 12 B-1 bombers deployed at a UK airbase a week after several men were arrested on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, said a Pentagon official on Sunday (Oct 4). The aircraft, which had been used in US strikes on Iran, have returned to their home bases in the US. British Prime Minister Andy Burnham had earlier said there were “strong indications” Iran was involved in a suspected plot targeting the RAF Fairford air base, located northwest of London. Iran has rejected the allegations. #uk #uknews
