@alvis5238: heres an update on Christa Pikes execution: About an hour before Christa Pike was supposed to be executed, a federal appeals court stepped in and temporarily stopped it. The judges basically said they needed more time to look at her lawyers’ argument that the jury never fully heard or considered the sexual abuse and neglect she experienced growing up. Al Jazeera Tennessee immediately asked the U.S. Supreme Court to lift that pause, so at this point, the execution hasn’t been permanently canceled, it’s been put on hold while the courts sort this out. #angiesfiles #truecrimecommunity #christapike #colleenslemmer
