There are 2 type of deception in this video
The first one is a double motion and the remaining two is a hold and hit
Looks easy to do but it is NOT
The double motion has 2 components. The false hit (first racket swing action) and the true hit (the 2nd racket swing action). The hold and hit also has 2 components, the hold component and the hit component (hit).
For your opponent to "buy' into this type of deception, the first component action must be very convincing. This can only be achieved if your initial hit preparation is convincingly done correctly. Therefore for any of this deception to be successfully ' sold" to your opponent, you must master first all your basic hit until it becomes 2nd nature thus your hit preparation can be done convincingly well to make your opponent think you're going to hit the birdie but then it's actually a false hit or a hold component and when your opponent already "moved" into your deceptive moves and that's where the 2nd hit comes into effect to trick your opponent.
Therefore master all your basic hits first before learning any deception because how on earth you can execute a deception if even your basic hit is incredibly lousy.
Good luck
