No to the pleats. I’m focusing on what fit my body shape versus what is “in.” I’ve always hated the way straight leg jeans look on me, regardless of my size. Turns out it’s the wrong style for my body type. I’m no expert in figuring all this out but I would start with figuring best jeans for your body type. 💚

Just so you know, I’m 5’2 and no model. I LOVE the American Eagle wide legged ones. They vary in “wideness” so millennial me went for the less wideness.
