Rich, chocolatey, moist, and you would NEVER guess there’s a can of black beans in it! BLACK BEAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F Add to a blender: 🫘 1 can black beans, drained & rinsed 🍬 3/4 cup sugar 🥚 4 eggs 🤎 1 Tbsp vanilla extract or vanilla paste 🧈 5 Tbsp melted butter 🍫 5 Tbsp cocoa powder 🥄 1 tsp baking powder 🥄 1/2 tsp baking soda ☕ 1 tsp ground coffee Blend until completely smooth. Pour into greased baking pan(s) and bake at 350°F for 25–35 minutes, depending on the size of your pan. Check the center with a toothpick for doneness. CHOCOLATE FROSTING 🍫 🧈 2 Tbsp softened butter 🍫 2 Tbsp cocoa powder 🍚 1 cup powdered sugar 🧂 Pinch of salt 💧 2 Tbsp hot water Whisk until smooth and creamy. I warmed the frosting for about 15 seconds to make it extra smooth and pourable. Seriously… DON’T KNOCK IT UNTIL YOU TRY IT! 😳 The beans completely disappear into the cake and leave you with a rich, fudgy chocolate dessert.
