even though guy has a very bravado personality, I do feel for him. he inherited a tarnished reputation and, assumingly, kept on close watch by the guardians. he retrieved hal's ring for john, under the pretense that It would be buried with hal, to then find out he was lied to and said he didnt care. I think guy did care about hal's death, but again because the current status of the earth green lantern, he cant do much about it.

This version of Guy doesn't deserve the hate he risked his ass to give Hal a proper burial he had absolutely no obligation to do so even that bit when John tells him he only got the ring cause he didn't take it Guy still has still could have walked away but He still did out of respect. Hal was an Ass John had his moments douchery too but Guy Since Superman did nothing but good
