Glow Day Activities to Try ✨ Highlighter Fun: Write or draw with highlighters. We used neon index cards with CVC words for students to read and illustrate. ✨ Glow Fort: Ours was from Amazon and is great for imaginative and STEM play. ✨ Giant Coloring Sheets: Wrap tables in white paper and create themed designs with black markers. Students color with neon Kwik Stix. ✨ Neon Letters & Numbers: Print on bright cardstock and invite children to order, sort, or match to items around the room. I have some you can purchase on TPT or you can just make them yourself. ✨ Magna-Tiles: Some naturally glow under black light. You can also find glow-in-the-dark sets. ✨ Neon Dot Stickers: Set out paper and let children create open-ended art. ✨ Beads & Pipe Cleaners: Some pony beads glow too. Great for fine motor and pattern making. ✨ Sensory Fun: Try neon water bins (just water and fluorescent paint), glow pasta, neon Play-Doh, or shaving cream mixed with neon paint. Our favorite neon paint is BioColor from @colorationsart ✨ Accessories Center: Glow face paint, neon tattoos, and stickers became a self-run station. ✨ Glow Sticks: Leave them out and let children build or sort with them. ✨ Neon Dominoes: Perfect for stacking, building, and cause-and-effect play. ✨ Question of the Day: Ask things like “Which color will glow the most?” and let them chart their predictions with neon Expo markers. ✨ Whiteboard Glow: Let children draw freely using neon expo markers. ✨ Neon Tape Roads: Use it to create roads or have students design their own for toy cars. Tip: Before planning, turn off all lights and turn on your black lights. See what already glows in your classroom and start there! Have anymore? #neon #endoftheyear #glowday #blacklight
