@divine_armas: Today October 5th we celebrate the feast day of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska Patronage: Mercy, Divine Mercy devotion, and Poland. St. Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun, was chosen by Jesus to spread the devotion to His Divine Mercy. She kept a detailed Diary, recording the messages and visions she received from Christ, emphasizing God's infinite mercy and the call for trust, repentance, and love. Through her revelations, the Divine Mercy devotion was born, including the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, celebrated on the Feast of Divine Mercy. St. Faustina's life was marked by humility, prayer, and obedience, even while facing misunderstandings and challenges. Saint John Paul II canonized Sr. Faustina in 2000 making her the "first saint of the new millennium." Speaking of St. Faustina and the importance of the message contained in her Diary, the Pope called her "the great apostle of Divine Mercy in our time." #catholic #saints #faustina #divine #mercy
