I think it might be the lighting, but it could also be the undertones from the dye, especially if you’re using box dye. Different shades can have blue, green, red, or gold undertones that can show differently depending on the lighting. I think the lighter color looks good though, you’re probably just not used to seeing yourself with it yet.
