I had a ex like this. Told him from the start I’d never be a house wife as I have too much ambition. He swore he understood and would never ask what I didn’t want of me. He then spent two years shrinking my wants and needs, while trying to take the roll of ‘man of the house’ in a house that wasn’t even his. He contributed bare minimum and always argued. He expected me to take care of the house, the bills and him, while pretending to be the provider, I was paying for rent/Gas/Electric/Internet/food and even for our dates. When I ended the relationship, he tried to rewrite the story as the victim. I blocked him and everyone to do with him, no arguments, just done, and my house has never been so clean and finances so stable! Men like this are honestly a joke. Using ‘being a man’ as a reason to literally try and take what they never contributed! 😂
