We, or at the very least **i** don’t want reheated marvel nachos, lanterns was this refreshing breath of air compared to the slop marvel had been doing for a couple years prior to Thunderbolts/BND. I think it’s a beautiful story a beautiful ending and i’m sure Hal won’t stay dead for long, they’ll find a way to bring him back either as a Hal-gram or they’ll clone him like the comics.

Idk. imo it makes sense for DCU to deviate from what Marvel did in their 2000s. It would be boring for them just to repeat the MCU's formula like showing heroes' superhero origin stories and their prime especially with the genre fatigue and everything. Synder had that chance and he ruined it spectacularly. we're all way past that so DC had to be creative
