@miarockcity: From October of 2024-December of 2025 my family was actively being stalked by a neighbor. It’s has been 10 months since we had to pack up our home and move within weeks when this man was let out of jail and was allowed to move in only blocks from us after being evicted from the guest house on our property. Thankfully the last 10 months has been that of trying to heal, and regain a sense of normalcy. We are still picking up the pieces, the hundreds of hours of lost work, the damage to my vehicle, the medical costs when he rammed into my car, on top of the mental toll it took on us… being stalked is a level of invasion that I would never wish on anybody. It is an experience where it is downplayed by everyone around you until the individual progresses to a point where he is threatening the lives of others. Ramming into my car, almost running over my son, feeling like he was untouchable because he would get arrested and then get let out, get arrested, and then get let out… He was facing seven felonies, two of which were aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. But of course, because he had never been in trouble before it all got dropped down to one felony. It’s weird to look back on these videos and think that we literally were living in survival mode that entire time. Trying to protect my family, but still trying to have a sense of normalcy. Attempting to stay afloat when you can’t leave your home, the amount of work missed because it wasn’t safe to leave my boys home alone. This situation made me realize how alone I truly was. Of course I have my boys, but being a single mother and having to deal with this, and having very little to fall back on was very hard the toll it took on us financially and emotionally is still something that I’m trying to get back…
