No this is so accurate. Abuse is terrifying. Narcissistic abuse is the worst because the same person who caused so much pain also would do the things to help mend that pain for a moment. Tricks your brain to think you have to go back because they mended the pain for a moment but it was pain THEY caused in the first place.
