Everything he said in this video is 100% but the most important thing nobody pays attention to is the one about Exxon. If those multibillion dollar companies thought those things were the future hell they’d have installed in the middle of town if they could

Chernobyl set back Nuclear energy about 100 years because of user error. But we have no “alternatives”.

an average wind turbine holds 800 gallons of oil for lubrication,an electrical transformer depending on size has roughly 100- 200 gallons to keep it cool

he's completely wrong....the numbers are false...they are putting wind generators everywhere

his numbers may be wrong, but he is right about the fact that if these renewable energies were the future companies like Exxon would be investing heavily in them bc power generation is among the least profitable uses of oil so moving oil away from it and to more profitable uses like gas or plastic would make them insane amounts of money

The power production from the windturbine will cover all those costs in the first year.

you know I recently watched a video on what the actual most realistic replacement for oil would be and the answer is steam it was this form of solar powered that generated heat instead of electricity something about using a concave mirror on a singular point to heat up a pipe that generates More steam and heat then we could use I personally think the answer is in what types of batteries we use to store energy in I personally think if we started running more things on ethanol and hydrogen that would be a step in the right direction using some type of renewable energy to produce said ethanol and hydrogen hydrogen via a hydrogen cell and ethanol from good old-fashioned distilling

The point Tommy is making is that the environmentalist only talk about the gas and carbon footprint of oil but have no solutions on how to create asphalt plastics rubber or anything else with petroleum in it are we in danger of running out now no but if we don’t start finding real solutions we will and it’s also a fact if all the alternatives were really viable options the major oil corporations including the Saudi royal family and most of the Middle East would be covered in solar panels and wind turbines

still take renewable wind / hydro /solar over oil, gas, coal , nuclear anyday. we still need oil JUST NOT FOR FUEL
