@itstherespawn: Jagex CEO Jon Bellamy announced a RuneScape animated series on stage at RuneFest in Birmingham, made with creator Charlie "MoistCr1TiKaL" White. It will be produced by Lyrical Animation alongside White's own studio, Meatier Productions. White has played RuneScape for 22 years and called it one of his favorite IPs ever. The series will bring the fantasy world of Gielinor to the screen, as part of Jagex's push to take RuneScape beyond games. It's still in the early stages, so there's no release window, cast, platform, or story details yet. Jagex says more will be revealed in 2027, as RuneScape marks its 25th anniversary. #runescape #gaming #tvshow #moistcr1tikal
