sinabi na yon sa AQ, focalors fooled the heavenly principles by inflicting the curse of immortality on furina, (splitting her divinity) by gaining enough belief sa oratrice where she hid (since the original sin of egeria is turning oceanids to humans using the primordial water) which she got caught immediately. Nung ni reveal na ni focalors yung ginawa niya, she purposefully killed herself to let neuvi gain full authority and trick celestia to save the fontainians from the prophecy, since egeria's got passed down to focalors after dying from the cataclysm.

Aside from the fact that the authority went back to its original owner (Neuvi the goat), the history figures of fontaine ay never nagconsult sa power ng Abyss. Researches from Rene and Jakob was mainly about the Primordial Sea. Fontaine's sin (Egeria's sin) ay mostly about sa misapproriate use ng power ng Primordial Sea. With celestial nails mostly are used for the existence of abyss and forbidden knowledge, it only makes sense bakit walang nail sa fontaine. :>>

Naberius turned Egeria into heart of primordial sea so technically the Heavenly Principles can't harm her that's why they only held a prophecy to the Hydro Archon. If Egeria's sin was punishable by a Celestial Nail shouldn't the Heavenly Principles thrown Celestial Nail to Fontaine waaaaaaay before? but again they didn't they only locked up Egeria and told to her that "one day you will cry while your people turned back in water you bwcth"

I mean, to add up with your idea, since Neuvi or the hydro dragon himself was the one to forgive the “sins” of the people of fontaine so I guess their authority no longer connects with the celestia but rather just the hydro dragon himself

as far as I know the Fontaine was already cursed due to original sins of egeria Kasi mostly ung mga tinamaan ng Celestial nails ay mga advanced civilization or under the threat of abyss
