My windows killed itself through shitty partition software that worked before that but as soon as it had Linux on the drive it formatted itself

The part that's funny about dual booting is that it's always Windows that makes it complicated. To the point where I think many new people would consider Linux much more seamless to install if they just whipped the windows install entirely.

I just use wsl... but thats primarily because my main desktop is a gaming pc and I have three mini pcs with Ubuntu for all my dev / testing stuff for my product..lol.
